Save the Children is the leading independent organization in the promotion and defense of the rights of children and adolescents. It works in more than 120 countries, serving emergency situations and development programs. Support boys and girls to have a healthy and safe childhood.
In Mexico, since 1973, it has been promoting programs for health and nutrition, education, protection, livelihoods, and defense of the rights of children and adolescents, within the framework of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.
For more than 40 years, Save the Children has also acted in the face of emergencies that have impacted Mexico, providing Humanitarian Aid to the populations that need it most, benefiting children, adolescents, and their families. This work earned them the National Civil Protection Award for helping families affected by the 2017 Earthquakes in Mexico.
It currently has a presence in 20 states of the Republic, supporting more than 300,000 children and adolescents.
The Need
