The Norwegian Refugee Council is an international, independent, humanitarian, non-profit, non-governmental organization established in 1946. All NRC Colombia activities in Latin America and the Caribbean respond to the needs and rights of displaced persons and refugees from their age, gender, social, ethnic, religious, or national status, with a focus on access to rights and durable solutions.
GCON4, the official Unit4 Partner, develops and maintains the financial localization for Unit4 Business World ERP in Latin America.
The Need
Faced with the demanding requirements of its donors and the challenge of responding timely to the needs and rights of displaced persons and refugees, the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) implemented Unit4 Business World ERP (formerly Agresso), a software that has the ability to adapt to the dynamics that its organization maintains around the world and produced an evolution of its impact on the beneficiary populations.
The Benefits
Progressively, the different subsidiaries of NRC are implementing Unit4 Business World (formerly Agresso). They are enjoying substantial improvements in their administrative, logistical and financial processes. Not only that, they are also obtaining compliance with the different tax requirements demanded by their national authorities. In July 2018, NRC Colombia began through GCON4, the implementation and parameterization of Unit4 Business World. This will allow them to eliminate duplication in their administrative management and external applications. They will also gain the ability to centralize in the same matrix management software all the tax requirements demanded by the National Customs and Tax Office of its country. This will greatly enhance its operation with the reduction of administrative burdens and optimization of its processes.
