Action required: new Console administration (TAG203) window in Unit4 ERP CR

Unit4 ERP CR includes the Console administration (TAG203) window, available since the ERP CR 26.1 release (May 2026). It is the new web experience for managing the processes (reports, server processes) within the Business Server. From it you can check the status of the queue, start or stop it, and terminate a specific job.

As part of the modernization of ERP CR, Unit4 is retiring the legacy Console administration menus (desktop and web). TAG203 will be the only way to access this functionality, with the same capabilities in both clients. The change applies to Unit4 ERP CR SaaS customers; it does not apply to on-premises environments.

Important: permissions on the legacy menus do not automatically give access to TAG203. Before the menus are retired, we recommend that you:

• Identify the users and roles that use Console administration.
• Grant them access to TAG203 (System administration → Reports → Console Administration).
• Validate that administrators can access and use TAG203 in your test environment (Acceptance) before the Production change.

Planned decommissioning dates, within Unit4 maintenance windows:

• Preview: already completed
• Test environment (Acceptance): 13 November 2026
• Production: 23 January 2027

If permissions are not updated, those users will no longer be able to perform Console administration tasks once the legacy menus are removed.
